New and updated standard forms released by BCREA this week

On July 9, the BC Real Estate Association released a new form and a series of standard forms updates.

Everything is summarized in their July 2025 Standard Forms Launch Package. It contains:

  • watermarked versions of the revised forms highlighting changes
  • guides on how to use the new and updated forms
  • summaries of all revisions

The Critical Path – Consumer confidence in real estate with BCFSA CEO Tolga Yalkin

That’s why our regulator, the BC Financial Service Authority (BCFSA) has been working on a new discussion paper called Strengthening Consumer Confidence, set to release in the coming weeks. 

This paper outlines many ways BCFSA will be looking to reassess our current regulatory system to increase consumer confidence in the market. It’s a meaty topic, and that’s why we invited BCFSA CEO Tolga Yalkin to give us a preview of the paper, and what their priorities will be.

Memberlink names now displayed on Paragon

We recently completed work to deliver a long-standing Paragon request to our brokers - you can now see the Memberlink name on the office profile when you search for them in the Agent Roster tab.

The office profile can also be accessed via a member search in the Agent Roster. The member's brokerage is now hyperlinked to display the information with one click.

While this was done to meet a request from our brokers, anyone using the Paragon system can see these new results.
