Upcoming events will help you deepen your understanding of DEI
In 2020, your Board began our diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) journey by joining the lieutenant governor of BC’s “Different Together” campaign. With this, we affirmed our commitment to stand up against racism and promote respect and opportunity for all people.
Since then, we formed a DEI Advisory Group with REBGV staff and members to explore ways to continue this important work. The group developed a statement defining our commitment to adopting and promoting DEI for the betterment of our profession and the communities you serve as REALTORS®.
Learn more at our, online events in June
REBGV is offering two online events in June at no charge for members focusing on DEI concepts that’ll deepen your knowledge around subjects like cultural allyship and unconscious bias.
Get all the details and registration info on our news blog.
I hope to see you online at one, or both, of these upcoming events!

A new way to learn Paragon on REBGV’s Learning Hub
Paragon is the most important tool in your toolkit. If you’re not using Paragon efficiently, that’s time you could be spending on getting more listings or making more deals.
We’re offering a new way for you to hone your Paragon skills on REBGV’s new virtual Learning Hub. Courses on the Learning Hub are free and let you move at your own pace.
Our first two Paragon learning modules are available now - click here to learn more and register (log in required).
About the Learning Hub
REBGV's Learning Hub is an innovative e-learning platform designed to deliver a self-paced educational experience.
Courses on the Learning Hub can be completed at your convenience – between showings or meetings, after dinner, whenever works best for you! Each course features a mix of videos, quizzes, and other interactive elements to keep you engaged.
The best part? All Learning Hub courses will earn you PDP hours when you successfully complete one. Check course descriptions to see how many accredited or self-directed PDP hours each course offers.
We’re adding more courses to the Learning Hub throughout the year, stay tuned!
Review the latest disciplinary decisions in your office
Stay on top of the work your Board does to uphold and enforce professional standards within the profession and resolve disputes between members.
Our Professional Conduct Committee (PCC) investigates alleged member breaches of the Realtor Code and our Rules of Cooperation. Review the PCC’s latest rulings (C22-43 Consent to Discipline, C22-42 Consent to Discipline, C22-37 Consent to Discipline).
Stats Centre Reports: Neighbourhood stats you can share with clients
There’s no better tool for communicating local, area-level, trends in the housing market than our free Stats Centre reports.
Each month, we email you the report for the area where your office is located. We also include a link for you to access any of the 20 other monthly Stats Centre reports. Missed the email? No problem – you can find the reports at REBGV.ca.
What’s in Stats Centre Reports?
These five-page reports capture the latest:
- sales,
- listings,
- days on market, and
- price activity.
All broken down by property type in a visual, easy to read format.
Get neighbourhood details
Stats Centre Reports also summarize activity at the neighbourhood or sub-area level.
In our Richmond report, for example, you can see sale, listing, and price trends for Steveston, Broadmoor and every other sub-area in the city.
Share these reports with clients
We created these free reports with you in mind. Share them with new and existing clients by email and on your websites and social media channels.
You can also use this HTML code to embed the reports within your website. The code is dynamic, so you only embed it once and it’ll automatically update when a new report is available.
For more information on our Stats Centre reports, contact the Help Desk at 604-730-3020.
Join our PacificWest sponsorship committee
This is our callout for volunteers to join the sponsorship committee for our joint REBGV/FVREB conference called PacificWest! PacificWest will be held October 3-5.
Do you have good relationships with your business contacts? As a sponsorship committee member, you’ll help us recruit sponsors by reaching out to your business contacts and selling various levels of sponsorship. Funding this large-scale event isn't possible without your support.
We urgently need to fill spots on our sponsorship committee. If you want to join, please email Daneesha Fullerton at dfullerton@rebgv.org. Note that you must be in good standing with the Board to participate.
We're looking forward to bringing everyone together for this exciting new event this fall, and we look forward to hearing from you!
Register your office team for slo-pitch in June!
REBGV’s summer slo-pitch softball tournaments are back on Wednesday, June 14 in Burnaby and Pitt Meadows!
Is your office ready to take the field? Here are the key details:
- We’re having two tournaments on the same day – one at the Riverway Sports Complex, 8605 Nelson Ave in Burnaby, and the other at the Pitt Meadows Athletic Park, 11431 Bonson Road in Pitt Meadows.
- Both tournaments kick off at 9 am, and the championship games should start around 2-3 pm.
- Teams from all over the REBGV area are encouraged to join. Teams should be comprised of at least seven men and three women. Just bring your gloves and bats, we’ll take care of the rest.
- There’s a registration fee of $400 per team – that’s just $40 per player if you can get ten folks together, and less if you’ve got a bigger team!
- The deadline to register your team is Wednesday, May 17.
Here's a flyer you can print to promote the tournaments in your office.
