DMOP form resources for members
This Monday, July 17, a new rule went into effect in our Rules of Cooperation mandating the use of the new Disclosure of Multiple Offers Presented (DMOP) form. It’s now available on WEBForms.
We’ve created several resources for you and the members in your office to help you use this new form and comply with the new rule.

Download your copy of our updated, interactive Rules of Cooperation
Speaking of the Rules of Cooperation, this crucial document defines standards for REALTORS® across the Lower Mainland. The new rule supporting the DMOP form and other new amendments are reflected in our Rules of Cooperation interactive PDF, updated July 2023.

This PDF makes it easy to quickly locate and jump between rules. There’s an alphabetical reference section at the top of the document, or you can use the index search to find what you’re looking for.
Both reference indexes link you to the page with the rule you’re looking for. You can also jump back to the top of the document from every page using the linked ‘RULES of COOPERATION of the CADREB, FVREB and REBGV’ header at the top of each page.
The PDF works across platforms, so you can use it whether you’re on your computer, tablet, or mobile phone using Adobe.

Tell BCFSA what you think about the collection of real estate data
BC Financial Services Authority (BCFSA) is asking licensees to comment on proposed amendments to the Real Estate Services Rules aimed at strengthening and clarifying BCFSA’s authority to collect real estate data. The deadline to provide feedback is August 27.
The goal of the amendments is to enhance BCFSA’s ability to gather information so they have a deeper understanding of current real estate market conditions and practices, including market-driven risks to residential real estate buyers and sellers.
Send your feedback to BCFSA using this form.
