UPDATE – new sale status, information coming to MLS® in July
The new sales statuses for MLS® listings will now be coming to Paragon, REALTOR.ca, and other platforms in July. We'll announce the exact date in the coming weeks.
These new statuses will help REALTORS®, homebuyers, and sellers get a better sense of how far along a listing is in the transaction lifecycle.
We strongly encourage you to use these new statuses once they're available. Refer to this guide to understand how you can use them. You can also review this FAQ, and a workflow chart that illustrates how these new statuses will be used.

FINTRAC online reporting system unavailable due to cyber attack
The Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (FINTRAC) has announced that its Web Reporting System is currently unavailable due to a cyber attack in March.
FINTRAC has confirmed with the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) that no REALTOR® information was compromised by this incident. However, Realtors can no longer report suspicious, large cash, and large virtual currency transactions through the Web Reporting System.
For routine situations, you should continue to internally identify and document all reportable suspicious, large cash, and large virtual currency transactions and be prepared to report them to FINTRAC once the systems are restored.
