MFA for Paragon, other REBGV websites coming October 31
Our new multifactor authentication (MFA) system will be active starting October 31. When you log in to Paragon or other websites that use our Clareity secure login system that day, you’ll be asked to enter a secure code that the system will text or email you.
MFA makes it more difficult for cyber criminals to use social engineering techniques to guess and use your password.
It’s the same kind of system CREA recently introduced for their websites. In some instances, you may be asked to pass through both MFA systems.

What we’re looking for in future directors
We’re accepting nominations for candidates to run in our Board of Directors election in January. Your Board needs experienced and qualified members who want to help govern our professional association.
For 2024/25, we’re looking for candidates with the following skills and backgrounds:
- Experience working in committees
- Critical thinking and problem‐solving skills
- Diversity of gender, thought, culture, background
- Mature governance experience
- Property management sector experience
- Experience with boards/associations

The nomination period closes at 5 pm on November 15. Our 2024 election will run from January 12 until 12 noon on January 19.

Attend BCREA's Managing Brokers' Conference in November
The BC Real Estate Association (BCREA) is hosting their Managing Brokers' Conference at the Executive Hotel Vancouver Airport in Richmond from November 8-9. This year's theme is 'Expanding Professionalism'.
You'll earn six PDP hours for attending and can take in workshops and speakers covering topics like FINTRAC compliance, risk management, brokerage policies and procedures, and best practices.
