GVR’s latest service enhancements, product launches, and member engagement initiatives
My latest video update covers the key strategic initiatives that your association has been pursuing in recent months to equip you with new MLS® tools, enhanced service offerings and member engagement opportunities across the region.
As we approach the end of 2024, you can expect us to announce new technology features, products, and service evolutions at a more rapid pace.
Within this period, watch for more frequent member updates, videos, and other communications to keep you on top of the latest changes coming from GVR.
New MLS® tools help you connect with clients
Two exciting new tools I mentioned in the above video are now available to help you get more connected than ever with your clients: The Collaboration Centre app and EasyCMA.
Collaboration Centre app
Your clients will enjoy a familiar, modern app interface using the Collaboration Centre app. In addition to receiving comments as push notifications, keeping them more connected than ever, they’ll also enjoy:

EasyCMA
EasyCMA is Paragon’s new way to generate high quality, simple, and easy-to-share comparable reports on the go!
This exciting new tool automates the report creation process by pulling property details directly from Paragon’s database. You’ll be able to adjust comparables, price adjustments, and value estimates as you like.
You can also create dynamic reports that change in real time as new data flows into Paragon, for the most accurate and reliable reports possible!

Reminder: GST now included in Contract of Purchase and Sale price
REALTORS® need to include the Goods and Services Tax (GST) in the sale price included in the Contract of Purchase and Sale (CPS), unless otherwise negotiated, as of November 12.
This change is the most notable of several recent changes to the BC Real Estate Association’s Standard Forms.
Review the latest disciplinary decisions in your office
Stay on top of the work GVR does to uphold and enforce professional standards within the profession and resolve disputes between members.
Our Professional Conduct Committee (PCC) investigates alleged member breaches of the Realtor Code and our Rules of Cooperation. Review the PCC’s latest ruling (C24-18 Consent to Discipline).
Important reminder: Let us know about teams changes
Please be aware that GVR is no longer able to update BC Financial Services Authority (BCFSA) real estate team name information on your behalf.
This change means it’s critical for you and the members in your office to let us know if you’re joining, changing, or leaving a real estate team registered with BCFSA.
If the wrong team name is on your listings, it could affect your ability to qualify for the Medallion Club and puts you in contravention of BCFSA regulations.
Let the members in your office know to email any team changes to memberrelations@gvrealtors.ca so we can keep profiles up to date and ensure compliance.
