Advancing professionalism in real estate – learn more at our AGM

If you haven’t seen our latest video, watch it below to learn more about the comprehensive body of work that REBGV is undertaking to help elevate professionalism in real estate.

To get a more detailed understanding of this and other strategic initiatives your Board is pursuing, I encourage you to attend our AGM on Friday, March 24.

This year's AGM is at the Delta Hotel and Casino, 4331 Dominion Street, in Burnaby. It'll also be livestreamed, so you have the option to attend in person or participate virtually.

Whether you attend online or in person, you’ll need to register for the AGM (log in required).

Visit our news blog for full details, including the AGM Package and more on the special resolution you’ll vote on at the meeting.

I hope to see you there!

Do your salespeople need to register as a team under the new rules?

Do you or the members in your office regularly work with other REALTORS®? You may need to register as a real estate team according to BCFSA’s new rules that come into effect April 1.

Not sure if you’re considered a team? Follow our flow chart to find out.

If you’re on a team, or your business model involves assistants or other Realtors, we strongly recommend you read BCFSA’s teams guidelines.

These guidelines provide practical information on how BCFSA interprets their rules and will help you understand how your current business model may be affected after April 1.

Volunteer with our professional conduct or arbitration committees!

Do you value ethics and professionalism? Do you take an interest in the REALTOR® Code and the Rules of Cooperation?

If you answered yes, consider volunteering for our Arbitration Committee or Professional Conduct Committee. Both committees are seeking members who are licensed as managing brokers.

The current committee terms end, and new terms begin, in May. This is your opportunity to put your years of experience to use while helping promote and strengthen our profession.

Visit our website to learn more about what’s expected of our volunteers and sign-up information.
