Engage with us at an upcoming Broker Breakfast
We have three upcoming dates for our Broker Breakfast and Roundtable series, and I hope to see you at one of them.
They are:
- Wednesday September 3 at the Boulevard Kitchen and Oyster Bar at the Sutton Place Hotel in Vancouver
- Wednesday September 10 at the Riverway Golf Clubhouse in Burnaby
- Monday September 15 at the Pinnacle Hotel at the Pier in North Vancouver
At each session, we will provide an update from GVR’s executive leadership team over a free buffet breakfast, followed by roundtable discussions led by Account Executive Brian Spencer and Senior Member Advocacy Officer Jennie deFoy.

Scam alert: Daniel Matos Andrade
Greater Vancouver REALTORS® has been notified of a potential scam artist who’s recently interacted with our members.
Daniel Matos Andrade, and a female companion named Corrie, claim to be from Victoria and need the services of a Vancouver Realtor. Andrade claims to run his own international investment firm after 20 years as an underwriter.
The GVR member working with them over the course of a month noted red flags throughout their interactions.

REEOIC and LTSA are looking for directors
The BC Real Estate Association is working with the Real Estate Errors and Omissions Insurance Corporation (REEOIC) and the Land Title and Survey Authority of BC (LTSA) to appoint new directors for their respective boards.
